Golden Nuggets: Huey Lewis And Tailgating

As the 49ers get ready for Saturday's game against the New Orleans Saints, more and more details related to the game are coming out. I'm not talking about game-planning and injury reports. Oh no, I'm talking about the essential news that Huey Lewis and the News would be singing the National Anthem for the game. They are based out of San Francisco and show up at a variety of Bay Area events, so it is not surprising they are getting the call for the Anthem. The 49ers will also have Bailey performing his 49ers anthem before the game and Sean Kingston performing at halftime.

For folks attending the game, the parking lot gates will open at 8:30am. In order to encourage fans to get into the stadium itself early, there will be discounted concessions from 11:30-12:30. I realize this doesn't apply to a vast majority of the people who visit this site, but it does mean we are that much closer to the game. It really can't get here soon enough.
