49ers Vs. Saints Inactives: Delanie Walker, Lance Moore Out

The 49ers and Saints released their inactive lists and there are no surprises. It's kind of a shame Shawntae Spencer will not get to play in his first postseason game, but injuries and the performance of Tarell Brown and Chris Culliver have shot them past him on the depth chart. Barring an agreement on a new contract, I doubt Spencer is around next season.
Delanie Walker is indeed sidelined, but hopefully there will be extra reason to re-assess his jaw in a couple days. We'll have our first game thread in about an hour, but in the meantime, enjoy yourself and continue to get psyched. It's a gorgeous day at the Stick and while that benefits the Saints offense to some extent, I'll take a gorgeous game day any day of the week. I'll be tweeting throughout the game on @ninersnation.

However, it should be a great game. Ya’ll have a great defense and Harbaugh is a great fit as HC.
The Saints are an amazing team.
Payton is imo one of the best coaches in the league. Should be a good game. Nothing but respect for the Saints.

I will always hate Jimmy Johnson. I met him when I was 13. Was travelling from Toronto to Los Angeles. They put me in first class since I was travelling alone. Sat next to Mr. Johnson and recognized him immediately. I asked him if it was indeed him. He smiled and said yes and was very polite, and probably thought I would ask for his interview or a picture. Congratulations getting back to the playoffs. The niner’s improvement this year over last reminds me of the change in the Saints in ’06 compared to ’05. In both cases, the change was lead by a new talented coach.
Regardless of the outcome, this is going to be a hell of a game. Good luck and may the best team win. And may the winner of this game go on to the Super Bowl.
