Well, one quarter down and the 49ers have stunned the Saints early, holding a 14-0 lead and possession deep in Saints territory on a fumbled kick return. There is a lot of football left and the Saints can make big plays, so the 49ers absolutely must go for the throat NOW.

Niners Build Strategy
49ers give me hope as a Browns fan. You built defense first under the former regime and current. Browns situation is a little different but that is what we’ve drafted for the last two years. And we’ve seen excellent results on that side of the ball. But congrats guys on the success.
We were top 10 defense in the league this year and played seven 1st or 2nd year players. And if you remember, we played you guys tough! :-) But ya, we need to draft some more offense.

I know you guys laugh, but the Browns defense looks a lot like yours after next years draft and free agency. When my friends ask me I always bring up the Niners drafting strategy vs ours. Stock up on young talent and shutdown even the best offenses. That’s why the Browns never got blown out this year.

Offense needs to play like they did at the beginning of the game and we will be ok again. Mix the run and pass well.

I think adjustments need to made on the O-line and D-line.

But their O finds weaknesses. I would grade our D as A+. 4 turnovers in 1 half.14 yads rushing. They are doing their job.
Offense… that is another story.
