49ers Vs. Giants: NFC Championship Game Ticket Sales
The 49ers and Giants will officially square off on Sunday at 3:30pm PT on FOX as the NFL's final four is set. Most of us will not be attending the game, but for folks who are looking to attend the game without paying insane scalped ticket prices, there will be one modest option available. Tickets will be put on sale to the public on Wednesday, January 18, at 1:00pm PT. Season ticket holders will have first crack at tickets via pre-sale at 10:00am PT, but then the general public will have access shortly thereafter.
You will be able to purchase tickets through Ticketmaster or over the phone at 800-745-3000. Those will sell out very quickly, so if you are unable to get any tickets with that sale, you have a variety of other options. NN has an association with TiqIQ. The NFL's official site is NFL Ticket Exchange. There is, of course, also Stub Hub and Craigslist among many others. Wherever you purchase tickets, it will not be cheap. At TiqIQ, the cheapest ticket has climbed to $422. It's just a little bit ridiculous.
How many people will be at Sunday's game against the Giants? If you won't be attending, what are your game plans? I'll find myself in a sports book in Las Vegas on game day so we'll see how that goes. I planned a trip a while back with a friend so we'll just get to enjoy the game down in Las Vegas.

Indiana Niners Fan
So I dont post here often but I read the blogs everyday. I was screaming like a little girl during the last 4 minutes of the divisional game! I live about 3 hours south of Indianapolis so I don’t get to see the niners live all that much (except a few Rams games) When the niners go to the Superbowl I am driving up. I cant afford tickets but hopefully I can find some others to Tailgate with!!!!

help me!
If the Niners go to the ship. I will most likely be attend! But i already looked for hotels and basically almost everything is sold out. Should i get a hotel in a neighboring city, and if so where? Closest to Lucas Oil would be best… Thanks if you are able to suggest anything.
PS good to see Niner fans in Indy!

The game kicks off at 11.30pm here, which is brutal given it will finish approx 3am and I get up for work at 6am. But hey, who’s complaining. I lived through the dark times. I earned this. Honey badger don’t care about no sleep.

Rec'd
I lived in Saudi Arabia when the 49ers and Giants played in the 1991 NFC title game and recall being up in the middle of the night for that.

With the game beginning a 0:30 am, it’ll be mighty tough the day after.
But i invited some friends to watch the game with them. 2 giants fan, 2 eagles fan, 1 Chicago fan and 1 Jets fan.
I always had to bear with the success of their teams, it’s my turn to be pumped up. And one of the Giants fan told me 3 weeks ago that among all the play-off teams, he thought the 9ers were the least deserving. I hope they show him wrong!
I hope my 49ers flag arrives on time for the game

Congrats on the imminent arrival. Sorry for you about the 0030 kickoff – you’re one hour worse off even than me!
Yeah, but i’ll glady take a short night for the privilege to watch the game live.
My wife doesn’t always understand why i don’t want to watch it after it actually happened.
But with the thrill of the last game, she can’t wait for the sunday game.
She did something really sweet saturday. I was beginning to chat with the friend i invited over thinking she’d go to bed early. But she went to my closet, put on a Crabtree jersey and sat with us, cheering the whole game. I can’t wait to watch game with her and my kid ;)

Welcome to Nevada.
I only was able to make the Stick for the Cards game this year. Try to attend at least one, and been doing ok. Have seen the boys in Glendale twice in last 3 years as two of their (Cards) cheerleaders are my nieces. First year I had season tix was ’68, and I was 13. Vividly remember 3rd loss in the playoffs, in a row, all to f*in Cowboys in ’72. Standing on my seat at the Stick and watching in horror as we blew a 12 point lead in last 2 min in NFCC game.
Like now,9 years passed (bad ones) til we were back in the playoffs andThe Catch-the First happened.
Geography then as now ruled out attending or season tix, but I hope to kiss the TV with tears streaming like I did 30 years ago when we MOVE ON TO THE SUPER BOWL!
(inlaws thought I was insane then, probably doomed that marriage)
And, to answer that question…
NOBODY!!!!

Amazing
I was shopping tickets at the half of the GB NYG game. I finally got a buddy to go in with me near th ended the game. We went lower box via eBay. By the time i checked out, they doubled the auction price. Then I went to another one quickly and the same thing happened.
Luckily I jumped on one where they hadn’t changed their pricing yet. Whew. Good luck hunting and hope to see all of you towel waving fools there!!
PS
I dropped $900 a ticket for LB14 Row N. I can’t miss this game and pulled the trigger right after the NYG game before the gouging went out of control.
I can flip these maybe now and wait to buy cheaper right before the game. But I really don’t want to chance it.
Any feedback out there??
wow thats insane
I wouldnt risk it… Im saving my money for the SB. And thats going to be super ridiculous prices…

Waiting game
I’ll be watching stubhub in the hope ticket prices drop on the day of the game again like they did vs the Saints. Hope to get to the game, but otherwise will be with my Faithful fans in a Sea full of red at some city establishment. Dying to taste what it feels like to be in a Superbowl!! I grew up following rugby and have tasted a Rugby World a few times, so I can only imagine how special it is.

I will be at candlestick
screaming my lungs out! We jumped on the season ticket bandwagon in October and no regrets. I can’t wait to see my niners. This is finally, the first nice thing i’ve been able to treat myself to since I graduated college and started working… WEEE!!!
I won some good money this Saturday with the Niners being underdogs.
I love it when people look at me and say, “Niners?!” Yup, Niners…that’s right.
Niners Nation on the Reservation
Where I watched the last game. . .
Will probably go to a friend’s house for a playoff party on Sunday, but I wanted to let you know that I watched the last game in the TV Lounge in Zieff with a group of first year students (I was waiting for my kid to finish a soccer event on campus – he joined the festivities when he was done). It was awesome! We felt your presence.

Thinking about making the trip
I’m in Toronto Ontario Canada. Been a Niners fan since I can remember. I’ve already looked into flights and accomodations, the problem is getting tickets. If I can score some I’ll be making the trip down. Otherwise it’s at a bar with buddies with my Montana jersey on cheering for the Niners to take it home and rubbing in my buddy’s face who’s a Giants fan.
I’m wondering if members of NN ever get together and tailgate before regular season games? For when I most definitely make the trip next year!
Let the price gouging begin...
If you're watching a blowout, you can pass the time by counting the double teapots.
Samurai Champloo > Macross
Upstate NY...
no way making this game, and will just be content with hanging at home. If it pans out gold, party invitations will be in the mail. But heck – if I had the chance, I would definitely go to Indy, if only just to tailgate, and then hang at a Niners-majority bar with some fellow fans that are such a…rarity…in these parts (I wonder why…).
Make it so.
Does tickemaster have any physical locations where you can buy tickets?

I don't think so
Sounds like it’s strictly online and over the phone.
