49ers Vs. Giants, NFC Championship Game: Official Tickets, Hotels, Etc FanPost
This past week we had several FanPosts of people looking for information on everything from tickets to hotel options in San Francisco. I thought I'd create a general FanPost that people can use for all those details. We have our Sports Bar thread from last week, but people can also use this FanPost for more updated information.
Any available face value tickets go on sale to the public at 1:00pm PT on Wednesday following a 10:00am PT pre-sale for season ticket holders. There are likely going to be very few tickets available so you'll need to be on right at 1pm to even have a chance. You can get tickets at Ticketmaster or by calling 800-745-3000.
If you are unable to get tickets through Ticketmaster, there are a variety of secondary ticket markets to check out. The prices will be at a significant premium. Some options include TiqIQ, NFL Ticket Exchange, StubHub, and Craigslist. NFL Ticket Exchange is the official re-sale site for the NFL, while TiqIQ is an SB Nation partner. For those that have never used Craigslist, it is by far the riskiest option for ending up with counterfeit tickets.
So, if you have any random questions about the game, feel free to post them here and I and/or anybody else will try and provide useful information. It can be about anything related to the game if you don't see a thread elsewhere to answer your question. The idea is not to discourage FanPosts, but rather to keep things organized and efficient.
If you get a chance, Rec this up so people will notice it.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Overhang
I am trying get some tickets and I was shooting for something in Lower Reserved because (a) they are cheaper and (b) I have sat there before and the overhang protects you from the rain. Does anyone know how I can figure out at what row the overhang is above the Lower Reserved section?
If you buy me a ticket
I will hold an umbrella over your head for the duration of the game, as well as hand feed you nachos at your request.

deal
ill let you at about 1:05 on wednesday if I get them
I always thought
that it started with the LR seats and the LB seats were in the open. But maybe it’s around row 5. If you go to http://www.seats3d.com/nfl/san_francisco_49ers/ you can kind of get an idea, though how accurate I’m not sure.

Questions for anyone who wants to answer, I guess.
I am planning on taking a train up to San Francisco from the Los Angeles area (more-or-less) and getting a hotel room for Sunday night. At the moment it appears I’ll be heading up there alone – due to the short notice of the game I don’t know if any of my amigos will be able to join me! But being alone isn’t gonna stop me from being IN SAN FRANCISCO when the Niners win the NFC Championship!
Besides, I figured I’d meet some cool people at a bar or something. Is anyone here gonna be at a specific bar?
Also, is there like any specific place where people will be going crazy after the game? Like, when I lived in New Hampshire, people partied like mad in the streets of Boston when the Bruins won the Stanley. Are there a couple streets where tons of Niners fans will be hanging out at all the local bars?

Was there an official NinersNation sports bar?
And if so, which one?

But I think it closed down. My recommendation is McTeague’s on Polk between Bush and Sutter but it hasn’t been official.
