Is this true?
You guys were great in the run-up to the game and afterwards...so what's with the hooliganism at the stadium?

It is true that this happens in any stadium
but that is still no excuse. It certainly would be nice if other 49ers fans that were around this situation would have encouraged these men to calm down. If I was a fan around this, even if I was for the home team, I would have been the one calling/texting security.
It is ridiculous that this should happen. I witnessed something similar though at a game in Chicago against the Buccaneers years ago. After the game, that the Bucs won, the Bears fans began pelting some of the Bucs fans with snowballs to the point that they had to run from fear of their life (their really were that many people assaulting them). It would be nice if there was enough security/ help to prevent this stuff from happening but I think as long as we have sports, this will be a common occurrence.
Been to every home game
for the past few years and i started noticing it after the Cowboys game this year. Now ofcourse the Cowboys bring out the worst in us and they damn near took over our stadium. Ive heard several comments in the parking lot and stands that we need to be tougher on opposing teams so there fans think twice before buying tickets and i think a minority group realized or thought this after seening 30,000 Romo jerseys in Candlestick.
I for one do not mind other fans at the game as long as they remember who’s house there in and act accordingly. But people should know that this is football not baseball and fans are more passionate about this game than most things in life

Apparently he was a Georgia jerk
As someone on Canal Street Chronicles pointed out: a real New Orleanian eating at Applebee’s? Now that’s bizarre.
What! shall we curse the planets of mishap
That plotted thus our glory's overthrow?
I'm not sure about this story
So this guy and his kids go to the game with N.O. gear ,get yelled at in the parking lot. They go inside and get yelled at some more, yet stay and never had to call for any help or bring any attention to anyone who could do something about it. Seems a little weird? So whats the problem really? He girls heard some pretty foul language? not good but it happens.
IF its true and a big if, then Please don’t wear your teams colors. Just be smart about it
The truth is some people suck, and its not a perfect world, but why why why be a target and invite trouble. just my 2 cents
Guys, don't think I'm trying to tar the entire fan base
I used to live in San Francisco (during the glory days, no less), and as I recall, hooliganism wasn’t a part the sports scene then. You guys were overwhelmingly polite and rational, so it’s surprising to find out this is reputed to be a common occurrence at the stadium. (Other Saints fans who were there report much the same thing.)

It's one thing to be polite and rational when your team is consistantly good and you know you should win...
But when your team has been in the crapper for years and the booze starts flowing, some people tend to turn into douche bags.
I’m from New Jersey and went to the Niners-Giants at the Meadowlands a few years ago wearing my jersey, but there was no heckling because we were completely overlooked. I was in the nosebleeds and the Giants fans around me were asking to check my phone for their fantasy players’ stats.
It’s no excuse, but I don’t think you can really compare fan mentality of the 80’s and 90’s to today.

same stuff happens in every stadium
in every city. You can’t condemn a fan base for the actions of only a few fans.
