49ers Vs. Saints: Amazing Recap And Time Lapse Videos
While the San Francisco 49ers players are busy getting prepared for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, we as fans can get away with looking back on the 49ers-Saints game and enjoying the insanity of it. Thanks to the power of the Internet, there is some amazingly creative content being produced.
There were three videos I came across yesterday that I had to share with you. One is goose bump-inducing and the other two are cool angles for the game. Head after the jump to check both of them out.
This first video is a recap of the game, but it uses a variety of video spliced together. The video comes from FOX, individuals at the game, some throwback highlights in the middle, and some video shot at homes and bars. The 5:41 video is set to music from Remember the Titans and if you don't have goose bumps by the end of it, I don't know what else to say.
This second video is a time lapse of the stadium from the beginning of the day to the end of the game. It is not quite goose bump-inspiring, but it's still pretty cool and worth sharing.
This third video is from a cameraman down at the goal line when the 49ers scored their game-winning touchdown. There is no television sound, only stadium sound. It gets incredibly loud, incredibly quick.

Man I am so ready for Sunday!!!
I’m kind of bummed that the game isn’t Saturday just it would be one day closer…
I think I've been ready since last Sunday
The anticipation is getting to me!
That first video…got me a little emotional…made me wish I could’ve been with my family for the game, but they were going nuts for me.

Totally agree
I’ve never hugged and high fived so many random people before. My hand has a bruise from high fiving so much. The atmosphere was just amazing. I can’t wait for Sunday!

reminds me...
I was there for the NFC championship game when we finally beat dallas in 94-95. I was a senior in HS. After the game, I lost my mind. I was running around the parking lot screaming and yelling and hugging strangers, and picking people up and shaking them. I got flipped off by no less than 12 dallas fans which only served to make me even more jubilant. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. I was there with my Dad and all our tailgating cohorts. Everyone thought I had snapped… what a day. I can only imagine that the feeling at the ’stick was just as great if not better this past Saturday.

Awesome first video!
Would have liked to hear the radio commentary behind some of the plays though aha
That first video is perfect
I’ve been wanting to see something like this for a while now, and I’m so glad someone made it. Just makes me so happy to be a Niners fan. The little flashbacks of the days of Young and Montana were great of course, just a reminder of our old glory days. The clips of fans celebrating were fantastic. The father holding his little daughter while he’s hollering at the end of the Saints game, that little girl is the next generation — it’s in her blood now, she’s going to grow up in a new era for the Niners. Makes me so happy to see that.
Great choice for the music too, incredibly dramatic soundtrack.
I’m going to be watching this over and over this week, getting me riled up for the game! Thanks for posting this, Fooch!
Win or lose, at the end of the day I'm just happy to see the Niners play well... Okay, winning is good. I prefer winning.
"Yeah, I do get emotional. It fires me up. It fires me up a lot. I'm not going to apologize for that. If that offends you or anybody else, then so be it." ~ Jim Harbaugh
Goosebumps.
I had ’em a minute into the video. By the end, I had tears in my eyes.

Ow... my ears...
The crowd reaction in the 3rd vid was absolutely AMAZING! I’ve seen other crowd reaction vids and they don’t even come close to beating this one.

Oh man...
I can’t spend another afternoon with tear-filled eyes watching YouTube videos of the game and fan reactions. I have to work today!
BTW, there is another one of people driving up and down Mission St honking horns, waving flags, screaming, etc. That was pretty cool too. Don’t have it handy, but it’s among the various fan reaction videos on there.
Like the first video said: Football. Still awesome. Especially Niners football!

Third video
Roman’s designed play had 4 players open when the pass went to Vernon. . .Peele was sitting in the middle of a void, and the Saint’s #33 had Williams open in front of him, and Crabtree open behind him. ’Tis a thing of beauty, it is.
