49ers Vs. Giants, NFC Championship Game: Everybody Listed As Questionable
We've got the final injury reports before the NFC Championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants. We've had a couple guys banged up, most notably Jonathan Goodwin and Delanie Walker. The former was injured against the New Orleans Saints and is officially listed as questionable (everybody on the report is officially listed as questionable, as it happens), but I'd be surprised if he doesn't play.
Walker is another story. He just returned to practice recently after missing some time, and he's been limited in practice since Wednesday. Frankly, I'd be a little surprised if he saw significant playing time against the Giants, but his presence would certainly help the 49ers offense. The biggest change from Thursday is the fact that Goodwin, Tarell Brown and Patrick Willis saw the practice field. Walker, Willis and Goodwin were limited in practice on Friday, and apparently Ted Ginn Jr. did some kind of activity, but not enough to put him on the report as limited.
Needless to say, I'd be shocked if Willis didn't play.
49ers
Questionable
CB Tarell Brown (thigh), WR Ted Ginn (knee), S Dashon Goldson (ankle), C Jonathan Goodwin (calf), TE Delanie Walker (jaw), LB Patrick Willis (knee)
Giants
Questionable
TE Jake Ballard (knee)
Probable
C David Baas (illness), RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), LB Mark Herzlich (ankle), QB Eli Manning (illness), WR Hakeem Nicks (ankle), DE Justin Tuck (shoulder), DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle, knee), CB Corey Webster (hamstring)

Because Harbaugh always lists everyone as questionable.

I think the only one who won’t play is Ginn. I’d be shocked if any of the others didn’t play.

Good thing honey badgers LOVE bloodbaths…..Lets Do It !
Harbaugh is mocking the injury report
I bet you they ALL play including Ginn.
Saw a tweet earlier in the week, I think from Barrows
Something about expecting the following injury report from Harbaugh at some point:
Lincoln (Head) – Questionable.
Harbaugh lists everyone as questionable. Ginn and Delanie are the only ones I could see potentially missing this game.

Haha
Surely the statute of limitations on that is up.

Both will play , this is the biggest game of their lifes , no way they miss this , besides they'll have weeks rest after this ...!!
I'm your " Huckelberry "...it's just my game ..( .AleX ) was asked , what do you think about all the game manager talk ... AleX i guess i just managed myself a VIctory ... Extend the Man ...!!
It would be nice to have a full array of receivers though
At least in terms of bodies to be used as “decoys”, and for blocking schemes.
So say Ginn and or Walker DO NOT plan on playing, can the 49ers deactivate both, and replace them with 2 players on the practice squad?. I am sure the coach knows his roster better than i do. I just want them to have a full array of offensive bodies for this game.
Deactivate?
Do you mean place Walker and Ginn on the game-day inactive list? If that happens, no they can’t be replaced with practice squad players.
Or do you mean IR? If they place them on IR then we have two open roster spots to fill and their replacements would likely be from the practice squad.
But Ginn and Walker won’t be placed on IR.

not from the practice squad unless they waive a player
of the 53 players on the roster, only 46 are active for the game. So if those to can’t go, they’ll just activate 2 from the remaining 9.
I got banned from Jests Blog for saying Chad Henne has better stats than Mark Sanchez. And they think they're the big brothers in this town? LMAO try again little sisters!
Let's Go Giants!!!!
I'm not sure what to think of this.
I am hoping Harrbaugh is playing games. Wow do I hope that.
