Terrell Suggs Makes Things Feel A Little Less Worse

This strays a little bit away from the site's philosophy on personal attacks, but I think there is some kind of pompous blowhard exception for Skip Bayless. Terrell Suggs conducted a phone interview with First Take this morning and said something to Skip Bayless that I think quite a few people would love to hear.

This doesn't take away the sting of yesterday, but we all could use something to laugh about today and this is one such thing. As Andrew Sharp put it, for one day, Terrell Suggs is champion of the universe.

Skip Bayless is the biggest troll in sports and maybe on the internet. But thank you Suggs for saying something I would say to Skip

- SF GIants Baseball 2011 = *sigh* Home of 6 World Series Titles
- SF 49ers Football 2011-2012 = ??? Home of the 5.5 Super Bowl Champs ( Aaron Rodgers should of been a Niner)
- WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US???? NOOOOOOOOOOBODYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

why go on the show?

Why watch the show? Ignore the show and they will take him off the air

The only time I ever watch it is when Stephen A Smith comes on or after the Steelers game to hear them screaming the whole time

Terrell Suggs is good for a nice quote now and then...

A couple of years ago, on the Super Bowl, IIRC, he said, “If my team ain’t in it, I hope they cancel the damn game!” A sentiment I understand quite well at the moment, and I’m sure other people do, too.

lmao

Suggs… you da man. “Don’t be a douche bag. You know what I mean.”

What? Bayless was correct about what Suggs was implying.

Bayless

It struck me as Bayless looking more to generate controversy with a very pointed comment. Whatever the implication, given how Bayless generally acts in his professional life, I can live with Suggs calling him out.

by David Fucillo on Jan 23, 2012 12:35 PM PST up reply actions

Skip was just looking to start something.

He was completely antagonistic in that situation. There are a lot of ways to clarify what someone is saying. That was not one of them. The guy is and always has been, as Suggs said, a douche bag.

Always liked Suggs, especially his quotes

His open disdain for his rival Steelers, and in a podcast interview with Peter King he admitted that his dislike of Tom Brady was likely due to jealousy since QBs get babied, more money, and the pretty girls.

As much as I hate the man I’m forced to agree. I mean, Skip Bayless is…..just awful.

but what’s up with the dude breathing really LOUDLY?

by SH0ck-D on Jan 23, 2012 1:09 PM PST reply actions

Too bad the Niners can’t work out a trade for MR. Suggs. Trade Crabtree, K. Williams and a first rd pick in the 2013 draft for him.

by bmcrae83@yahoo.com on Jan 23, 2012 1:12 PM PST reply actions

That would be a terrible trade.

Also include Anthony Dixon in that trade. Yeah wishfull thinking I know but at least it’s an idea.

#49ers free agent Carlos Rogers on if he’d take a “hometown discount” to stay in SF: "Hometown discount? I would take a team discount … Just consider the team first. I definitely will. Like I told them, I like this from the owner to the GM to everybody that’s in this organization. I like everything about this organization – all the players, the trainers. This ain’t about me coming out and saying, ‘Now I’m free, let’s get the check.’ I’m thinking about this team, and this is where I want to be.

gotta love that

we need him for sure. Culliver is only gonna get better and Terrell Brown?? Well I’m not sure if I’m sold on him or not. I’ve seen him struggle in coverage so we shall see. Also, on the offense, I like the choice of taking Hunter last year in the 3rd round but man, David Wilson from VA Tech would be a HUGE draft choice but there’s not a chance we take him.

but he’s realy improved as the season went on

Tarell Brown is a beast

He kept improving every game this year

I would be ecstatic if Rogers, Brown, an Culliver are our 3 starters next year

Right on MR Rogers, sign him. This is some thing different that was once reported earlier. Another report that came out was he and Niners were far apart on a deal. That report stated he had priced him self out of the Niners range.

Seems ike Kyle had a shoulder injury in the game

Don’t understand why he would risk the chance of returning kicks in OT when he thought he dislocated his shoulder
