Two Players away from a Super Bowl Title !
While a lot of people are talking about Manning as a Savior, or Dwayne Bowe as the answer to our prayers. I have a different opinion on things.
1. Resign our special teams players. Keeping that unit together is key for team
2. Resign Rogers, Brooks, and franchise Goldson if he wont sign a long term deal.
3. If Ginn won't resign draft Kendall wright to return and play WR. Then draft another big WR in 3rd round
4. Only big time free agent to go after. Carl Nicks (he's from the Bay Area and might take a little less to come home)
5. Draft picks on CB, OLB, and maybe another RB ( I hate Dixon)
Carl Nicks would change our O-line from above average to OUTSTANDING!
Imagine Staley, Iupati, Goodwin,Nicks, and Davis together for 3 years.
Morgan, Crabtree, Wright or Ginn, and a big physical 6-3 Receiver, and Williams is decent for WR
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Great ideas!
Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Kaepernick to be super so soon.
Alex Smith and Nicks at 15 million a year or Manning at 28 million?
No brainer. We were well under the cap last year. Not sure if our front office will commit that much money to a guard though
manning and nicks

One difficulty ... what are you going to do for a QB?
Can you honestly say that you believe that with these additions and Alex at QB the Niners can win multiple Super Bowls?

One good qb who does not go 0-13 or 1-13 on third down in the big games away from the super bowl

you do realize that it's a team
game and that stat isn’t all on Alex right…

you do realize
that he was throwing the ball to the dirt right?
You do realize that ( ALL ) Qb's have incompletions right ...!!
I'm your " Huckelberry "...it's just my game ..( .AleX ) was asked , what do you think about all the game manager talk ... AleX i guess i just managed myself a VIctory ... Extend the Man ...!!
Agree that we should resign our special teams players, Rogers, Brooks, and Goldson, but if Goldson wont sign a long term deal I’d just look elsewhere in the FA
I like the idea or resigning Ginn, don’t think he’ll get receiver money elsewhere. We’d have to trade up pretty high to get Kendall Wright, and he may just end up being another Ginn. If Ginn doesn’t come back we should just pick up a return specialist in the mid-rounds.
Not sure about Carl Nicks. He’s a LG, which would mean either he or Iupati would have to move. Also, Snyder would likely leave, which would take away key experience and depth. Really how to address the line depends on Kilgore. If he has developed into a strong player, then maybe we just stay the course with Snyder. If he hasn’t, then maybe we need an FA.
Draft positions are hard to address until we know what FAs have been brought back or signed, but like the idea of drafting a big WR and then depth at OLB, FS, SS, and CB.
don 't think it's too hard to switch from left guard to right guard.
not as tough as switching tackle positions
You say...
keep our ST unit together aka TheTonyMontanaSquad yet you “hate Dixon”. I would say Blake Costanzo is the standout player on special teams but A.Dixon is defenitlly a big part. Just his excitment alone motivates not just the squad but us in the stands!! Before every kick off he is the first one out there jumping up and down throwing his hands up trying to get us pumped…
I agree his RB play is dicey but he is a viable 3rd string RB and defintlly a comodity in our Speical teams

Mohamed Sanu!
He would fit or physal style perfect. And he’s acostomed to the Jet Sweep plays. He’s a beast. I would say we’d be set at WR with Crabz at the one, Josh Mohan back 100% at the WR2, and Mohmed in slot being used on multiple looks and formtion sets. Oh yeah, he’s one helluva bocker too. Give him a unifrm please Baalke! Kyle Williams, and Gin should absolutely be enouph. in depth. Pick up one more FA or rookie in th late rounds if he’s big, 6’3"+
