Coming soon to the NFL... NIKE 2012

I don't know about you guys, but I have been patiently waiting for Reebok to expire and Nike to ascend on their destiny with the National Football League. As Reebok's contract ends with the NFL after the lame Super Bowl this year (Yeah, I'm still bitter), Nike's contract will begin officially. That means new jerseys, shirts, pants, jackets, gloves, and shoes for the players and the fans!

I am very curious to see what changes Nike will make to the 49er jersey, but I do hope they keep it simple keeping in mind the tradition but still give it that clean, and new edgy feel to them. But I can't say the same for some other teams, as their jersey's will get an entirely new facelift with the feel of the many billion different designs of the Oregon Ducks.

Although, Nike is not officially in, they have been previewing their products, and it will begin with the Pro Bowl. Watch as players sport these new "College" like football gloves that shape into the team's logo when they put their hands side by side.

As for the jerseys, I am sure they will debut coinciding with the 2012 NFL Draft, as each team drafts their players in the First Round. Oh except for the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons who gave up their #1s. Whomp Whomp...

Now if only the NFL allows EA Sports to let the god awful Madden Franchise exclusive contract to expire, and revive NFL 2K, I would be all set!
