Golden Nuggets: Pro Bowl? More Like Bore Bowl ... Or Pro Bore ... Yeah

Did all of you good folks enjoy the Pro Bowl yesterday? Me neither, because I didn't watch it, just like I won't be watching the Super Bowl. Though they are for different reasons, admittedly. On one hand, I don't want to watch the Super Bowl because I can't think of a potential matchup that is less exciting. I'm sure fans of the Patriots and Giants are stoked about the rematch, but I'm not seeing it. The Pro Bowl is just ... one of the most boring events in all of sports, to be honest with you. I can't imagine why folks watch it. Really, it's just a big tease, as a defensive line featuring both Jared Allen and Justin Smith would be far, far more devastating than they're allowed to be in the Pro Bowl. Let's get onto the linkage for the day.

I turned the game off after the first play

Having to watch Justin Smith line up next to Jared Allen only to watch both of them unable to rush the passer and instead slowly walk toward the QB made my head hurt.

Pro Bowl's a joke, let's talk about something else.

How about the Niners next year letting Ahmad Brooks walk and drafting one of the underrated stud linebackers in the draft, Sean Spence. He’s younger, very aggressive, and one of the few people that hits and wraps up EVERYTIME. I like getting Coby Fleener with the 1st, waiting for Sean Spence in the 2nd, and then rounding it out with Joe Adams (PR/Wes Welker type) in the 4th. Add in a possible Colston and you could have a preseason SuperBowl Favorite.
