2012 NFL Playoffs: 49ers And Honey Badger Don't Give A .....

When it comes to entertainment, I don't really ask for a whole lot in life. As the 49ers get ready for the 2012 NFL Playoffs, Jaymee Sire put together a fun feature for CSN Bay Area about the honey badger. If you haven't seen the honey badger YouTube video, you have to check it out. It's simply bizarre and awesome.

The 49ers have taken on the honey badger as a sort of motivational ploy. I've posted some video after the jump of Jaymee Sire's feature on how the 49ers have used the mighty honey badger as a motivational ploy. When the 49ers were heading back into the locker room a few weeks back they reference the honey badger. In a few short weeks it has become a bit of a regular occurrence. How can you not love Coach Harbaugh? As we saw in Detroit, Coach Harbaugh don't give a [site decorum]. It really is a great time to be a 49ers fan.

Nobody loves a good cussing more than me.

I will occasionally go off on a tangent that would make a sailor blush.

However, just like in the real world (I know this isn’t the real world this is the internet) when I am at a customer’s office or I am interviewing an employee I don’t get to talk like a trucker. I have the ability to turn it off and have a conversation swear free.

Pretend this is practice for a job interview or an important professional situation. Only it is an awesome situation because you get to talk about football and the 9ers.

Harbaugh is truly a genius

The way he motivates the players but makes it fun at the same time is amazing. You sense that he has created an incredible, almost tangible, electricity among the player. You get the impression they all love being a part of that crew. They’re pumped, but he seems to know when to ramp it up and when to relax them with some humour.

Brilliant leadership.

Agreed, Walsh could make the players laugh too

Not just the bellhop thing, but I wish I could find the clip (I just look – came up with nothing) of when he asks the players not to have sex the night before a game. Very funny clip.

speaking of honey badgers

i say that we try to get tyrann mathieu next draft maybe trade our 1st this year to get two first rounds (specifically a high first round to go with the #32 pick wink wink) that boy can flat out play, yes lsu’s defense is stacked and has alot of talent but he has been the reason that their defense is so good, hes like ed reed and troy polomalu combined with a little ronnie lott sprinkled on top long story short, can you imagine tyrann mathieu in our secondary :D unstoppable
