Thursday Night Football open thread: Steelers vs. Titans could get ugly

We provide an open thread for Thursday Night Football featuring the Steelers and Titans.

And so begins Week 6! We're back for another week of Thursday Night Football with the Tennessee Titans hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are on the road, but are sitting as 6 1/2 point favorites over a Titans squad that can seem to do much of anything right. The Titans knocked off Detroit in overtime in Week 3, but otherwise they have given up 30+ points in their four losses.

If you are looking for last minute fantasy advice, I recommend starting any and all Steelers tonight. I suppose the Titans could end up hanging close, but I am entirely skeptical of that. The Steelers are through their bye week and sitting at 2-2, and I think they are able to climb to 3-2 and maintain pace with the Bengals and Ravens in the AFC North.

This game has no real bearing for the 49ers, who will be facing the AFC East this year. The Steelers are in competition for an AFC playoff spot, but they are likely a bit down the food chain in the battle for the AFC's spot in the Super Bowl. We'll see how they look in a game they should win easily.
