Thank god I'm not actually gambling money on my picks this season. This has been an absolutely abysmal performance as I attempt to provide picks each week. I had my worst week to date, going 4-10 against the spread. My 7-7 performance straight up was not any more impressive. I did nail Seattle and Cleveland, but I don't think those picks were quite as difficult as I might like to try and make them out to be!

This week the 49ers are sitting as 7 1/2 point favorites against the Seattle Seahawks, after opening earlier this week as nine point favorites. I would personally love something under 7 as I think this game ends up somewhere in the three to seven point range. Obviously I think the 49ers can win this game and I do think they can swing the cover. In terms of a specific prediction covering the spread, I think the 49ers pull out a ten point win. I'd love a thorough beatdown to put the Seahawks in their place, but this Seahawks defense should keep this game close.
