Happy day after Halloween! There are some great pictures floating around from Halloween as many people went with a mix of 49ers-related get-ups. However, the same day he was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week, 49ers QB Alex Smith may have also claimed best Halloween picture. I'm sure he is doing this in part for his son, but given that his son is only a year and a half old, I have a feeling Alex enjoys Halloween just a little bit himself.

Halloween also saw one kid dressed up as his favorite player, and another kid dressed up as Jim Harbaugh. Speaking of Coach Harbaugh, he was a popular costume this year. Here are a few samples.

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. When I was a kid in Las Vegas, October 31 was Nevada Day (the day Nevada came into the union), and we would get the day off from school. That meant for a looooong day of trick-or-treating. Life was good.
