My Self Pre-Ordained Meeting With The One And Only Kendall Hunter

The other day I stumbled into good fortune in meeting Frank Gore at the exclusive Gucci store in the South Bay, and this time, after reading on Niner Nation that Kendall Hunter was going to appear at the Classic Material Sports Collectible store in the North Bay on Saturday; I decided that I would help fate to happen in meeting the 2nd component in the 1-2 punch of the San Francisco 49er running attack Kendall Hunter.

Arriving at the sports memorabilia store, there already was a line formed to have Kendall sign their memorabilia which included option of getting a poster signed in a gold marker by Kendall himself. When there was a pause, I asked him to use sign language for "ILY" (which you put up your hand with only the first finger, pinkie, and thumb exposed) for a photo.

Then, I handed him my T-Mobile Sidekick 4G with a message inscribed to Kendall asking the same question I asked his fellow teammate Frank Gore just two days before, "What is the conditioning secret that allows you to play on such a high level?"

He typed back to me a remarkably similar answer to Frank Gore's, which was "to work hard" but he added another important factor to his top condition, to which he typed, "and eat right."

Bingo! What is working out hard without eating right? Back to square one, whether or not we want to admit it.

Kendall looks slimmer than Gore, who looked more muscular but he looked like he could dress up as Captain America and dodge a few bullets.

I later ran into Kendall again at the nearby Hooter's Restaurant where I ordered a grilled chicken garden salad (I guess Kendall's advice to eat right was rubbing off me) and at that point I decided to show him the picture taken of me and Gore, and told him it was only in a span of 3 days that I met him and Gore.

Kendall shook his head, saying "wow, that is so cool."

Then he peered to take a second look at the picture again, smiling.

That shows how much mutual respect he has for his teammate Gore.

What a duo!
