49ers vs. Rams: Third quarter Kaepernick thread!

Ralph Freso

We provide an open thread for discussion of the third quarter of 49ers-Rams

Well, this game got a whole lot more interesting rather quickly. Alex Smith was knocked out of the game with a concussion after taking a big hit from Jo-Lonn Dunbar. Colin Kaepernick has taken over at quarterback and will captain the ship the rest of the way.

The 49ers trail 14-7 entering the second half and will need to step up in the second half. The defense struggled on the Rams first two drives, but stiffened up after that and kept the Rams from doing any more damage. The Rams start the second half with the ball, so we'll see if the defense can take over this thing.
