The San Francisco 49ers have to be excited about the first two drives featuring starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The second year QB, making his first career start, completed seven of his first eight passes to give the 49ers a 10-0 lead on the Bears.
The touchdown came on a beautiful play action fake that saw Frank Gore make a huge block to give Kaepernick the time to drop the ball into Vernon Davis' outstretched hands. Gore absolutely blew up Lance Briggs as you can see in the GIF below. Frank Gore does so many things so well. It truly is a sight to behold.
