Forget the pronounciation part, because it would be too funny for a deaf fan to try teach his fellow fans how to pronounce his name; instead I will just simply try to encourage my favorite 49er fans to start spelling his name as "KAP" instead of Kaep. It seems we are stuck at "Kaep," but we don't have to be so I am here at a blackboard writing "Kap," and I am writing Kap 100 times on the blackboard, so I can send the message across.
In his hometown people called him "Bo," but I don't recommend calling him that, it is just for those closest to him to call him that. His offensive coordinator is called G-Ro, anyway.
For the Spanish speaking folks, here is the Spanish version of my correction: "El Kapitan," instead of "El Kaepitan" and I am not a Spanish linquistics expert but if we are to start calling him Kap then we need to emphasize the nickname and introduce it to the Spanish version.
Otherwise if you call him by his last name, it is KAEPernick.
Hey Kap, steamroll against the Saints, and cap a win by making our jaws drop!
In other words, start a new KAP controversy!
