We break down the Saints-Falcons Thursday Night Football game, and provide an open thread for discussion.
The New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons kick off Week 13 with one of the better Thursday Night Football games of the season. TNF has been a bit of a struggle at times, but hopefully two offensive heavyweights can put on a bit of a show.
For 49ers fans, there is plenty to keep an eye on in this one. The Falcons are 10-1 and a game and a half ahead of the 49ers in the race for the best record in the NFC. The 49ers have enough of a fight with the Bears to secure the second first round bye, but that does't mean we can't keep an eye on the Falcons each week.
The Saints are of course coming off a loss to our 49ers that I don't think was quite as close as 31-21 might otherwise indicate. The Saints had found some serious momentum heading into the game, but now sit at 5-6, and a game back of the second wild card team.
The Saints handed the Falcons their only loss of the season, so we'll see if Atlanta has revenge on their mind.
