College football is fast approaching bowl season, which means the opportunity to scout teams in person is quickly coming to a close. Today will probably be a heavily attended Saturday of football as conference championship games highlight the schedule.

The schedule opens with TCU hosting No. 11 Oklahoma at 9am PT. The Sooners have a chance to claim the Big 12 with a win and a Kansas State loss. The No. 6 Wildcats are hosting No. 18 Texas at 5pm PT. According to Chris Steuber, the 49ers will have scouts at TCU-Oklahoma.

The big game of the day is at 1pm PT, as No. 2 Alabama faces No. 3 Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. The winner of the game will face off with Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game.

At 5:17pm, the Big Ten Championship Game kicks off between No. 17 Nebraska and Wisconsin. The winner of this game will go to the Rose Bowl, where they will face the No. 8 Stanford Cardinal. Stanford edged out No. 16 UCLA in the Pac-12 Championship Game. I would have had an open thread for that last night, but I didn't realize it was going down last night until I was at a bar last night and someone requested it for a little later in the night.
