I'm attempting to make a case for Aldon Smith being the DPOY. Unfortunately I'm a little new to this football gig and consider myself a casual fan when it comes to the understanding of football and its nuances.
That said, any help Niners Nation? I've just not encountered pushback from Von Miller supporters and how he is the reason their defense is good while Aldon Smith is just a piece of the puzzle.
I'll take this opportunity to educate myself as well.
