Thursday Night Football open thread: Bengals vs. Eagles

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

We take a look at the Bengals-Eagles Thursday Night Football matchup, and open a thread for discussion

If watching a pretty good team take on a severely under-performing team that everyone likes to laugh at, then you're in luck. Week 15 gets started tonight when the Cincinnati Bengals (the pretty good team) take on the Philadelphia Eagles (the team that everyone likes to laugh at).

Cincinnati (7-6) is still in the hunt, while the Eagles (4-9), can mark up another lost season. The Bengals lost in Week 14, their first loss in four games, allowing the Dallas Cowboys to score 10 points in the closing minutes. The Eagles, to their credit, are coming off a win ... their first in two months.

The Eagles have only one thing to look forward to the remainder of this season: the progression of quarterback Nick Foles. We have our own developing quarterback and we're no stranger to disappointment in that area, as well. Will be interesting to see how this pans out, as Michael Vick passed his concussion test.

Anyway, here's an open thread for ya'll. And stuff.
