Well there you go, conservative game plan will lose against a good coach. 49ers did not really replace Hunter or Williams and paid the price. Coach leaned too heavily on defense and became 1 dimensional at RB. The Rams defense was extraordinary, but that is to be expected with Fisher. The 49ers never went deep, barely used Vernon Davis and were predictable. Yes Kaepernick busted a 50 yarder, but he also took a 2 point safety and tossed the ball away for 6 more. Our defense did not give up a touchdown, but we lost, this loss goes on the coaches who should have known they had to go all out for touchdowns against the rams D after the first game. Now the QB controversy will really blow up and the niners will be lucky to get a home playoff game if they win the division! Niners have lost focus over the Kaepernick hype and it showed.
