Greg Roman and the 49ers Offense "Repost from Dec. 12, 2011

I know everyone has to see this. Is it just me? Our play calling is horrid. I am nausious stiil. 3rd and 2 shotgun formations, delay of game penalties, 1st and goal from the 5 fade routes. Football is a simple game. It's only compicated if you make it that way. By the way, where are the slant routes, and drags over the middle. Why do we keep throwing to the flats for a gain of 1 yard?. Why isn't Frank Gore being utilized out of the backfield? All these are questions that are burned on my sleeve. Is it all on our o-line, Aex Smith, our WRs, or is it the football guru upstairs known as Greg Roman? I say yes to the latter. On that note, we will be in this situation a lot more in the foreseeable future. Offensively frustrated. We have one of the most offensively talented teams ever, and yet we can't seem to mustur a first down. When you come out in shotgun, or empty backfied it makes things much easier for the opposing defense to detect, PASS,PASS,PASS. Why do we continue to give defenses the upper hand in that regard? Make them play the run too. we have one of the best run games in the league. That alone is an advantage when it comes to play calling. I hope the team addresses these issues in the upcoming weeks. Our o-line has given up way too many sacks as of late. We reverted back to our old o-line. Granted, Joe Staley was injured. Either way we have given up too many sacks. What happened to the three step drops we had going early on? I don't think Greg Roman knows a whole lot about football. It looks like he does rock, paper, scissors wth himself to see what play to call.Like the 3rd and 2 wildcat he called last week against the Rams. Really cute. Just line up the men, and move the chains already! The fly sweep is a beautiful play htat even set up the Frank Gore 50 yard TD run yesterday. But we seem to make things harder than they shoud be with sub-par play calling. I appreciate all the positives Roman has brought to our team, but his situational calls are questionble. Delanie Walker, and Vernon Davis should be the most feared duo in the NFL. I even see Vernon getting a bit hot underthe collar lately Stelf Bombz Dec. 2, 2012 " I am not a fortune teller. I simply observe, and relay the details how I see em. Roman needs some micro-management
