We take a look at the 49ers-Seahawks weather forecast, which includes potential rain.
The 49ers will kick off with the Seattle Seahawks in a couple hours, and it is going to be another chilly affair for the team. According to weather.com, game-time temperature is expected to be in the low 40s with a 50% chance of precipitation. There is little to no wind in the forecast, so it should particularly bone-chilling cold. Last Sunday at Gillette Stadium, it was in the high 30s with rain, but no wind meant it was not nearly as awful as it could have been.
I suspect we'll see plenty of players' breath tonight, but the 49ers have shown they can handle the elements. There is of course the concern over ball security, so that will be something to keep an eye on coming out of the gate. It was not a pretty sight last week as both the 49ers and Patriots struggled at times to hold on to a rather slippery ball.
