Despite getting the bye, I don't feel good about this team.

Where is our intensity? There is absolutely no excuse for coming out flat at home in a must win game. As highly as I think of Justin smith he doesn't make a defensive team filled with pro bowlers. I see a bunch of guys looking confused, playing without focus, and emotion.

What has happened to our offensive identity? We cannot make it through the playoffs just throwing to Crabtree. Our running game looks in poor form, and the passing game is relying too much on crabs.

Im so disappointed in our effort today. I really believed the bye was extremely important to our hopes of going deep in the playoffs. But I think I was wrong. I don't think it matters because we simply aren't playing with any intensity. It's like they forgot there was football still left to play after that patriots game.

I realize injuries have hurt us but our intensity or lack there of, is really troubling to me. You just can't turn it off and on upon command. CK looked indecisive throughout the game, missing open reads, open lanes to tuck and run. And if the cardinals were not so inept on offense we would have been down and with no intensity.

This team has to get its act together right now. No one is intimidated by us, no is scared about coming into candlestick. We must get back to hurting people, otherwise the bye won't mean shit. Because both the Seahawks and the packers are playing well enough to win on the road.

Both my gut and head thinks the packers are going to the Super Bowl this year, because they are playing at a high level and playing their style of football. And nothing pisses me off more than thinking that GB might get another shot. Because I know we are a better team.

And what in the hell is going on with Akers. He is costing us so many points but more importantly he is costing us game momentum which is crucial in playoff games. I believe we need to make the change at kicker because just hoping Akers gets better I think is simply naive.

I hate going into the playoffs not feeling good. Hopefully they are just a little tire like they were last year at the end of the year. If that is the case I expect for us to be rejuvenated by the bye.

But I can't get past the fact that we haven't been consistent enough this year. And in the end that will cost us.
