The folks at Xfinity have us running these posts from the Xfinity Sports Guy with a poll on a variety of fantasy football matchups. Today Austin is wondering whether Jake Locker or Russell Wilson will have a bigger fantasy performance. Locker has the better matchup, facing a weak Colts defense, while Wilson has been much more impressive the last few weeks. I'd lean towards Wilson's fantasy consistency recently, but generally most people in the playoffs right now have better options.
Speaking of fantasy playoffs, if you're looking for some info heading into Sunday's games, drop by the SB Nation Fantasy hub for all sorts of details. Since taking on a full-time role with SB Nation, part of my job has been managing our fantasy football operation. The Fantasy War Room I've been running this season will be live Sunday morning from 6am to 10am PT, and you'll be able to enter through a link on that page. For only week 14 content, check out the Week 14 fantasy football hub.
On to Austin's comments...
This week's edition of The Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY is here. Some divisions have been clinched, and now it is time to start filling up the remaining playoff spots. Before we get into this week's poll, let's look at the top social media stories going into this Sunday.
The @dallascowboys and @Bengals face off in a crucial game for both teams. This one should come down to who has more big passing plays.
#MNF on ESPN features the class of the AFC. Regardless of the winner, the @Patriots & @HoustonTexans are both preparing for playoff time.
In last week's Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY, we looked at which running back would have more rushing yards, Eagles running back Bryce Brown or Redskins running back Alfred Morris. Morris had a very good game versus the Giants on Monday Night Football, rushing for 124 yards on 22 carries. Despite this performance, it proved to be not enough, as Bryce Brown rushed for 169 yards on 24 carries with two touchdowns.
In this week's Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY, we look at two young quarterbacks, Titans QB Jake Locker and Seahawks QB Russell Wilson. Locker takes to the road to face the surprising Indianapolis Colts, ranked 18th in points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Wilson will be at home vs. the Arizona Cardinals, who rank 3rd in points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Despite the lofty task of carrying the Seahawks offense, Wilson is coming off one of his better games of the season, throwing for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns against Brian Urlacher and the rest of the tough Bears defense.
So, which quarterback will throw for the most yards in Week 14: Jake Locker or Russell Wilson? Vote now in the poll below!
