National Signing Day
How did your college do?
Stanford seems to be getting some serious OL. Again. How about some receivers, dammit? Looks like all the fast guys are flipping. I guess they do not need any, with nine lineman on the field.
I wonder though if a more draft like system would be better. Of course with colleges being of such a different quality that may be unfair to recruits. Any way to make it work to level the playing field a bit?

draft
Seems like it would gets into too many issues with kids getting to pick where they go to school.
Yeah they should just do away with that
Pay them to play and forget about making them go to class. Most don’t care and are skating by on cupcake schedules and sweetheart homework deals.

Stanford did well
Lots of O-Line like you say.

Some highly rated O-Line recruits
Weren’t 3 of them rated Top 5 in the nation for their respective positions? NICE
Don’t forget the literal second coming of Barry Sanders (Jr.)! I Loved watching his dad play, and hope that he brings some of that same production to Stanford (except when they play Utah).

Universtity of Texas
always a strong class! looking forward to the young QB from Scottsdale, and glad to see the big middle finger thrown at LSU by the DL Torshiro Davis. another squad built on defense, a proud longhorn’s dream come true.
look out for Jonathan Gray- a running back w/ 4.4 speed and a relentless motor. he’ll be the next great UT RB…to follow the footsteps of many great footmen!
UCLA
Did pretty well surprisingly. I wasn’t expecting it out of Jim Mora Jr. (Our old friend) and he more than exceeded expectations… Now let’s see if he can coach them.
"Whoever said WAR is HELL must have been talking about Aaron Rowand" - McCoven faithful
WVU
Got a top 150 QB to replace Geno Smith (Baller btw) when he leaves, and picked up a couple really good receivers. And Scouts had the WVU snagging the 45th CB and 6th MLB.
Good day for Holgorsen and the ’neers. This jump to the Big 12 is only gonna help, too.
Go Mountaineers.

Utah
Really excited! The best recruiting class (Top 30 class on paper) the Utes have ever had.
They got a ton, literally 2000+ lbs, of O-Line (9 commits). One of them measures 6’7" 375lbs!?!
We got another good JC RB to pair with Juan Blanco Quatro (John White IV) to run behind that line.
We got some DB’s to help defend all the crazy-good QB play I’m expecting again in the PAC-12.
Most importantly we got a couple good QB recruits. One of which was in the Elite 11 QB camp (Travis Wilson). Lord knows we could’ve used them last year after Jordan Wynn went down. We had to start a guy who was a D-III transfer (YES Division 1-2-3) the bulk of the season.
Ahhhhh! The unbridled optimism of signing day.
GO UTES!
That, and also the Red Wolves had a pretty good recruiting class
for a Sun Belt team. Michael Dyer also transferred over from Auburn.
there's more important things than national signing day
this Saturday is national ice cream for breakfast day!
SEC oversigning as always?
