PrintIt's Sunday afternoon out here in California, closer to Sunday evening for folks back east, and it's the first Sunday without football since September 4. It's the first weekend where football hasn't been entirely on our mind since sometime in July before end of lockout talk really caught fire.
How have you enjoyed or at least gotten through a football-free weekend? More times with loved ones? Moving on to college basketball, NBA, NHL or some other sport? I caught some of my UNLV Running Rebels yesterday and am enjoying "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" today. I still think it's an underrated classic!
So how are you dealing with no football?

So in light of that I have been busy researching and aquiring all the parts I need for my LR .308 rifle build. This is a .308 Winchester caliber semi auto. Yeah you know, it looks like an AR15/M16 only bigger :)

Although instead of Neuroanatomy, it’s Environmental Economics, and instead of final it’s a midterm, but I too find myself looking for any sliver of 9er news and actually watched a bit of the 9er Saints game, until my fiance caught me lol, such is life. Back to studying…

I usually do the same thing.
Except the NBA sucks this year. Only two teams really matter the Heat and OKC. Everybody else is too old to play 4 days a week, or just not that good. Ok maybe Chi and NY are interesting but I’m a celtics fan so everything sucks this year…

(side note)…I DVRed the last minute and a half of the 49ers divisional game against the saints. I have been watching it daily. Helps keep me optimistic for the upcoming season.
