"An under the radar player who is expected to be a very hot free agent is 49ers receiver Josh Morgan. Teams are buzzing about the possibility of acquiring Morgan, who is considered a very good talent who should be available at a lesser price than the receivers on the top rung. The 49ers have been enthralled with Morgan for four years, but he never really had a breakout because of health issues and offensive ineptitude in previous seasons. A broken leg limited him to five games in 2011. But front office men see Morgan as someone with decent size, speed, toughness and play-making ability." --Seems like Morgan remaining in SF might not be such a sure thing.

as much as I think he could go
I don’t think he will. Look at the reaction the team and Jim Harbaugh had when he broke his leg. They basically said ,“Hey buddy heal up, you are with us next year.” I think Jim knows what he has in him and won’t let him go too easily. A WR corps of a FA #1 WR (Bowe, VJax, etc.), Crabree, Morgan, Ginn, and Williams is going to be pretty great. I really expect Harbaugh to open it up next year with passing with Smith’s swagger at its highest point and 1 year of experience in the system.

I think he will go if someone offers him a big contract.
If a team like the Patriots, Saints, or even the Panthers give him a deal bigger than the one the 49ers are willing to give then I expect him to go to an offense that will utilize him more.
Wait. What?
The 49ers have been enthralled withMorganCrabtree for four years, but he never really had a breakout because of health issues and offensive ineptitude in previous seasons.

I know. everyone knows because he turns EVERY thread into an Alex Smith discussion
this one is about Josh Morgan being a hot commodity as a free agent, it has nothing to do with Alex Smith’s performance but here we are talking about him again. It’s foolish.

Ever since he disappeared the 49ers have been winning!
