Will Kyle Williams ever bounce back?

How is Kyle Wiliams ever going to bounce back after he made TWO!!! of the most infamous mufffed plays in 49er history???

Star-divide

Man what a horrible nightmare for the young and very talented WR from Arizona St. I thought, before this tragedy happened in the NFC Championship, that this kid looks like Desean Jackson Jr. I really thought that he has been over looked by Alex Smith, who goes through his progressions like a blind man trying to find a quarter on the ground. I saw real potential in this kid. I was in the end zone when he made that incredible grab against Dallas. His burst of speed and those hands, wow what a steal in the draft.

But now, after he made all the 49er faithful cry, kick their dogs, thrash their TV's and ground their children for a year. How is this kid going to bounce back from such a historic mishap, that wasn't the entire reason why the niners lost, ( coughing ) (Roman) but its kind of hard not to put most of the blame on this guy.

If I were Trent B or Harbaugh, I would seriously give this kid the courtesy in seeking a trade. I mean hey, you know he has already seen death threats. He will get booed every time the PA announces his name. This was a tragedy of the likes of which I've never seen since Rodger Craig fumbled against the Giants in the championship game. But Roger only Fu&%ed up once. Williams did it twice.

I wish this kid all the best, I truly hope he proves everyone wrong. Sh%t happens to anyone. Look at our president Obama. How many times has he dropped the ball and every one still has his back.

Too busy Winning!!!

tragedy

The miscues stunk, but it is far from a “tragedy.”

It is as bad as it gets in professional sports.

Not counting bad injuries, that’s the worst that could happen. Who knows how many years before we can get to the Superbowl again.

I hate that dude. It was a known issue about him, since college, and he did not fix it. It is not like he was told to field punts a day before.

if it was a known issue then shouldn't some blame go on the coaches

For putting him in that situation. He also seemed to be having some lingering effects from his concussions. Hating someone because of their performance in a game is pretty ridiculous too.

I'm not an Alex Smith appologist. I'm an Alex hater hater.

Where do I start?

K Williams is a second year guy that was snubbed all season for well deserved time on the field. There is no game vs the Giants without king crackback throwing the block to spring smith on third and forever vs the Saints. It’s not Smith not Bo ING him time on the field. Smith also should be glad he has another receiving option that can go the distance like VD.

Gonna make the WR position relevant again? When?

I don't think so

But I don’t think it has anything to do with the muffs haunting him. This is a guy that now has a series of concussions early in his career and one game where it was exposed that if his bell is rung a couple of times that he might mentally go to pieces.

Is that the truth? I don’t know. Maybe it was just a series of unfortunate events but I do know that teams will be head-hunting him if we try to make him a lynchpin of anything we want to do.

I love his potential but I’m afraid his time in this league is growing short due to the pounding he is going to take.

Every time Jamie Dukes says something enlightening and informative about football Jerry Rice and I mount up on our flying grizzly bears and claim pirate treasure from the moon. That's how often it happens.

The first mistake was terrible

How did not know that his leg hit the ball. He tried to fake it and got caught. The second can happen to anyone but he should have taken care of the ball considering the muff he laid on after the first. I don’t know if he’s going to make it and to honest, I still pissed. We had a chance to the PARTY. That is really what counts in todays game.

What was his wonderlic score?

If he can completely forget what happened in the NFCCG, he’ll be fine.

Hopefully I’m wrong, since we’re stuck with him for the time being. Hopefully a high draft pick or FA will relegate him to limited playing time.

Bad game at the wrong time

Hes explosive. Not comfortable with him returning punts…there was one play where he dove to catch a punt. He’s a wonderful slot receiver. Quick and fast with Crabtree like hands. He just needs more playing time.

Kyle Williams should not be traded, cut or any of the other crap idiotic people are saying.

I’ve been on this kid’s bandwagon since day 1, and two mistakes he made should not blind you from the fact that he has talent, and lots of it.

He’s quick and fast and has solid hands. I just hope we give him the chances to show everyone that.

If Alex...

Hits KW on the wide open post in that game…He would be the hero instead of the zero! But that’s the beauty (or in our case, the ugliness) of sports!

and nobody is questioning the other player involved.

Keep him!

Looking into my crystal ball of the future, here is what I see happening. Kyle Williams is going to vow to himself to never let his team down again. He is going to work his [site decorum] off. You will see him have a breakout year and make us all wonder why Crabtree was our #1 for so long when we had K-Will on our team.

Oh, and he returns a kickoff for a TD next year. :-)

Who's got it better than Honey Badger? Honey Badger don't give a ....

Kaepernick's raw talent + Harbaugh's coaching = Hall of Fame QB
