By the time this posts, Punxsutawney Phil will have been pulled out of his temporary hole and provided his prognostication for the coming year. It sounds like it will happen around 7:30am (PDF). Whether it's six more weeks of winter or an early spring, it's not generally a huge issue here in San Francisco.

This has absolutely nothing to do with football, but for a Thursday morning in January February, what the heck. And it gives me an excuse to post a clip from a classic like "Groundhog Day." I wanted the full scene of him saying the winter was never going to end, but this is the best I could come up with on YouTube. Thankfully still entertaining.
