Can anything be done about these ridiculous ads?

I know the site needs advertising and I'm not against that, but can anyone explain to me why some of the ads have to be so ridiculous. I'd really rather not be looking at some random dude in a facemask and whitey tighties when I come to this site. It's not only on both sides of the page but also randomly between articles. I can't stand it. I may not be returning to Ninersnation on my computer (mobile app doesn't show this dumb stuff) for a month or so until the ad changes.

I don't know what you all think about it or if it even bothers anyone else but it would be nice if we forced to look at ads if it didn't have to be stuff like that.

Our sales folks were notified of it and have offered up apologies on the creative behind this one. This wrapped ad should be gone fairly soon (as in after today).

try an ad blocker

not sure what browser you use, but I run AdBlock on Chrome and I never see any ads.

Now think this: someone got paid to use this to market. It’s so bad, you won’t go to site that advertise it let alone watch it.

I like to whitelist my favorite places on the internet

But when the ads get that intrusive and annoying it’s no longer worth my time to do it.

Every time Jamie Dukes says something enlightening and informative about football Jerry Rice and I mount up on our flying grizzly bears and claim pirate treasure from the moon. That's how often it happens.
