What the.....?
Harbaugh has something up his sleeve.
Maybe his hands are good enough to change positions…………….

Hmm, very curious....
I don’t get why they signed him. It’s not like Jennings is going to retire soon, and he’s definitely not slowing down in his game either. Are they worried about depth or something? I mean, I understand signing the other kid, because it looks like they want to groom him to eventually inherit the LS spot, once Jennings’ leaves.

Oh no
Jennings might have asked for top long snapper money! I know Harbaugh likes competition in every position but this is taking it to the extreme.
Pontibrand was drummed out of Cleveland
after messing up a few snaps this season, including one that killed a game winning field goal. IMHO, Seely is just doing a solid for his former player, helping him rebuild his image at 49ers camp. On the off chance that Pontibrand returns to form, then the 49ers can roll with him instead of Jennings.
Honestly, I have no idea how to evaluate long snappers. But apparently having Pontibrand and Jennings competing is like having Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in training camp fighting for the same position. That can only be a good thing.
Really don't see the point in having "competition" for long snapper...
when Jennings hasn’t done anything wrong. I understand Harbaugh wants competition everywhere, and with Jennings being the longest tenured player and essentially perfect at his game, it should send a serious message to players.
I just don’t understand why you would do this with Jennings rather than saying that Larry Grant is competing with Willis and Bowman, or Dobbs is competing with Justin Smith to start. Just seems like those scenarios would make more of an impact in getting the message across that everyone needs to earn it every single day.

Long snapping is like throwing a pass upside-down.
Quarterback depth.
We don't need 8 in the box. We have 52 in the box.
Not sure why we signed this guy
but okay
If you're watching a blowout, you can pass the time by counting the double teapots.
