Hope you enjoyed your once every four years February 29 yesterday. Leap year generally just reminds me again of the Olympics and presidential campaigns. Exciting stuff I realize. It also is one more day towards free agency and the NFL Draft. Free agency gets going on March 13 at I believe 1:00pm PT.

It's kind of nice to not have to deal with free agency starting at 9:00pm PT anymore. Who wants to be staying up that late waiting for breaking news? If nothing's going to happen, I'd rather it be when I am moderately coherent. Last July when free agency got going it was a case of hurry up and wait. I remember sitting and watching NFL Network for days on end and nothing was happening. That might have been more exhausting than if there had been a ton of news. I guess we'll just have to wait and see once again on that.

One last note. The SB Nation YouTube channel launches today, which is a pretty big deal for the network. Taking that step into video is a big step forward.
