Golden Nuggets: Free Agency Is One Day Away!

Well, we're almost through the first "slow" period of the NFL offseason. There has been plenty going on with NFL rumors and the NFL Combine, but things did quiet down a bit here and there. While we've had plenty of Peyton Manning rumors over the last few days, the free agency rumor mill should heat up even further of impending signings tomorrow. Although it is against the rules for free agents to interact with other teams before 1:00pm PT tomorrow, backdoor dealings happen and there will probably be tentative plans in place for players to sign by the time tomorrow gets here.

For the 49ers, it will be interesting to see if we get another patient approach to the market. Heck, it'll be interesting just to figure out what direction they are planning with regards to positions like wide receiver and cornerback. Even quarterback could come into play if something doesn't happen soon with Alex Smith. It will make for an interesting week.
