Amidst all the insanity that has been Peyton Watch and now Alex Watch, it has been easy to forget about the 49ers moves to date in free agency. Although the 49ers have not officially announced the signing (signed contract has to be approved by NFL first), Mario Manningham is the newest member of the 49ers, as seen in part by his change of twitter handles from @ManninghamNYG82 to @Manningham49ers.

Now that the dust is sort of settling with the Alex Smith situation (minus, you know, a contract), it is probably of some help to go back over some of the moves to date. We still don't know the full details of Mario Manningham's contract, but in spite of that, I was curious how people felt about the addition. Manningham will be under contract for two years so the total package wouldn't be too ugly.
