Although NFL free agency rolls well into the 2012 NFL season, it is safe to say the San Francisco 49ers are quickly approaching the end of free agency. The team could add another player here or there, with Leonard Davis being the most prominent player mentioned. Beyond that, the 49ers are likely just about wrapped up in free agency.
Although the team may still get some work done, I wanted to see what people think of the 49ers free agency moves to date. The 49ers re-signed Carlos Rogers, Alex Smth, Ahmad Brooks, C.J. Spillman, Ted Ginn Jr. and Tavares Gooden. They have added Mario Manningham, Randy Moss, Perrish Cox and Rock Cartwright.
There is still some work to be done, but given what has gone down for the 49ers with re-signings, additions, and some of their lost battles, how would you view the 49ers free agency run so far? If you were concerned about the future with the 49ers current team, I could understand still being a little bit apprehensive about the 2012 roster.
I think the return of the 2011 squad, combined with the additions we have seen put the team in a position for intriguing success in 2012. Some may question what we have seen thus far. Roll out your grades, and if you are just not sure, let us know why.
