The NFL decided to get in on March Madness a bit as they created a tournament to crown the greatest team of all time. The 49ers had numerous entrants, but as the tournament comes down to the final four, the 1984 San Francisco 49ers are the only one remaining.
The 1984 49ers are squaring off against the 2000 Baltimore Ravens, while the 1985 Chicago Bears are facing the 1976 Oakland Raiders. The Ravens 2000 defense was certainly solid, but the 49ers all Pro Bowl secondary might have a thing or two to say about strong defenses.
