After a couple weeks of wildness, free agency quieted down quite a bit this past week. The 49ers added Brandon Jacobs to the fold, but otherwise it was a pretty slow week. The NFL has hit the first truly significant lull of the offseason. We're just under four weeks away from the 2012 NFL Draft, which also means it is almost time for the 2012 NFL schedule release. That comes out in the days leading up to the draft, so we've got that to look forward to soon.

Since things are pretty quiet, I thought I'd throw up an open thread for the evening. We don't have these too frequently, but people are likely bouncing around all over the world. You can talk 49ers, NFL, or whatever else is on your mind.

One reason I wanted to get this posted was to post a playlist from the SB Nation YouTube channel. It's embedded after the jump and provides quite a few videos to check out if you're looking for some entertainment on a Friday evening. It is one player but as each video ends, a new one begins. SB Nation has put a lot of time and effort into this channel and there is some pretty cool content, football and otherwise. Check it out if you get a minute.
