The dude's just straight-up bad. Other than being a dorky kid who looks like he's twelve (and is already married), I'd say he's a straight-up pimp......
We all know the career... 50-3. Three losses by 3-points or less. Nearly 53-0.
So let's look at the Pro Day that everyone seems to be IGNORING...
- 52 or 54 completions (overthrown deep ball & a miscommunication on a route w/a WR)
- Guys are dotted RIGHT IN STRIDE (as usual for Moore)
- Caps his workout with TWO throws that travel 60-yards in the air
- Shows much better arm strength than many anticipated on intermediate throws
- Good velocity
- Tight spirals
Just a routine workout for Kellen Moore. And at 6-0 197, running 4.9's, he's essentially the SAME SIZE and speed as Drew Brees coming out of college. And basically the same arm-strength... And Brees? After YEARS of weight-training and throwing and refining his mechahnics, Brees still can't throw a ball further than 63-yards in the air. And that's being GENEROUS (QB Challenge throw, WITH THE WIND...).
Kellen's RIDICULOUS Boise St. statistics after the jump...
WELCOME TO THE GOODIE ROOM......

You paying attention? I'm talking... G5, for Kellen Moore! That's how he can roll...
So am I saying that the 49ers have to run out and draft the guy? No. Not at all... Hopefully Alex becomes the QBOTF. Or Kaep is able to become a HOF-talent w/his amazing physical gifts and Harbaugh's tutelage. Or J.J. comes from nowhere and becomes the player he was under Jimbo at USD. Or Tolzien could... No, probably not.
So best case, we DON'T draft a QB because Jim thinks we're set... But if not? KELLEN MOORE BABY! And I don't know about Harbs, but Baalke's on record saying he likes Moore a lot. And Jimbo did court Manning which says to me he's not exactly thrilled with Alex.
And does Moore become Ty Detmer, or does he become something...more (Moore?)? Well, who the hell knows about ANY of these guys... But if he does NOT become the next Drew Brees, it sure as hell won't because he's too short or doesn't have the arm-strength or isn't fast enough. Like I've said to death and from experience: you don't throw OVER people, you throw THROUGH throwing lanes. That's ALL QB's, not just shorter ones. And he can make all the throws and he's fast enough.
Durability? Let's see... Let's see if he can add weight, good weight like Brees did. Because Brees is stronger and heavier by 20-25 pounds now. And make no mistake, Kellen Moore comes out of college as a BETTER PROSPECT than Drew Brees. He had a better college career and I personally think his arm is as-good-or-better and his mechanics are more refined. He definitely played in a more complex system than Joe Tiller's at Purdue as well.
Be prepared to BE SHOCKED on Draft Day(s). I'm calling my shot now... KELLEN MOORE WILL BE THE 4th or 5th QB OFF THE BOARD!!!!!!
So yeah... He's a player. A "Playa'"... A big d*ck Playa'.... Kellen Moore. Swingin' past his knees.......
(btw... for those who are curious, this is an actual picture of me -- taken at my computer -- RIGHT AS WE SPEAK!)
(KELLEN MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE......................!!!!!!)
