2012 NFL Draft Results: Rams Trade With Cowboys

Stay connected for news and updates

Following Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III going 1-2, the draft is really getting interesting as trades are starting to pick up speed. The Cleveland Browns moved up a spot to take Trent Richardson. The Jacksonville Jaguars moved from seven to five to draft Justin Blackmon. Now, the Dallas Cowboys have apparently moved up from No. 14 to No. 6 in a deal with the St. Louis Rams and drafted corrnerback Morris Claiborne. The Rams now find themselves with a whole host of picks after two trades from the second pick.

There was a lot of speculation that the first round would include numerous trades and it is living up to the billing thus far. Will the 49ers join in the fun? They won't be making any kind of move into the top half of the draft, but they could very well work there way up ten or twelve spots. There has been no speculation on it, but you never can tell with the unpredictability of things.
