With the discussions about the added speed and potential increase in passing some folks are saying we are going to radically re-architect our offense for next year. I don't see it. We aren't going to be successful trying to be the Rodgers Packers, Brees Saints or Brady Pats. That is how the NY Jets ended up on the shoals last year, abandoning what had been working and trying to go a whole other direction. Rather, I see us in the mold of the Steelers with Big B; Giants in the ol' Phil Simms days - -having the core approach that is power and runinng and short passing game WITH the added flexibility to keep defenses off balance with quick speed strikes outside with some impact players.
With our defense and ST I see us at 11-5 winners of the Division and strong contenders to go ALL the Way. So of the disaster predictions of 8-8 because we can't replicate turnovers etc are way off base. IMO.
