A year ago I decided it was time to add moderators to Niners Nation so that we could keep the conversation at a fairly intelligent level. We had five moderators and while there have been struggles, I also think the moderators did a fairly solid job doing a thankless task.

We've had two moderators give up the job due to work and other constraints, and I thought now was as good a time as any to add two more moderators. Things have gotten fairly feisty on the site in recent months and some fresh blood would be helpful in keeping people away from each other's throats on a regular basis.

If you're interested in joining the moderating team, please give me a heads-up. It's voluntary duty, but it is incredibly important work.
