NFC East Fantasy Football Preview

This week we will be taking a look at the NFC East. Who is gonna come out of no where to help you in your league and who is gonna disappoint you. I will be using terms like AAPP (Above Average Player Performance) which I explained in an article earlier. Here is a link if you have not read it yet http://www.ninersnation.com/2012/5/3/2997232/are-you-ready-to-step-your-fantasy-game-up . In the coming weeks I will be previewing all of the divisions as well as releasing my final Big Board and my All-Bust & All-Sleeper teams later before the start of the regular season.

Now to the NFC East, this is a divisions with a lot of questions. But this division is always close. When it comes to fantasy they have some studs & will no doubt have some duds as well. We are gonna go through The top 5 fantasy player in the division and name a few sleepers as well.

Lets start out with our top 5 Fantasy Players coming out of the NFC East:

1.LeSean McCoy PHI HB, He is dynamic runner with great hands and a top 5 HB in all the NFL.

2.Victor Cruz NYG WR, Has great speed and is playing opposite great WR's so no real way to double him.

3.Hakeem Nicks NYG WR, He is an amazing redzone threat with a great ability to run after the catch.

4.Desean Jackson PHI WR, He is a big play waiting to happen every time he touches the ball. And this is assuming he doesn't shut down after getting paid.

5.Jason Witten Dal TE, He won't speed by you or jump out of the building, but he is gonna give you consistent points week in and week out and is a tough SOB.

Now for a few Sleepers:

Roy Helu WAS HB, He has a great chance to put up good numbers in a HB friendly Shanahan offense and a young QB who will maybe actually have defenses respecting the passing game unlike last year. My only worry is RG3 playing the vulture around the goal line.

Robert Griffin III WAS QB, RG3 throws an amazing deep ball and has a stable of good WR's and a coach who believes in him and is ready to mold this offense around him. And like I just said, he will have a great opportunity to steal those all important goal line touches.

Jermy Maclin PHI WR, He is forgotten by many because of Jackson, but he has serious talent and if Jackson slacks off after getting paid. Then Maclin will be a big time contributor in that offense.

This is a division of High Flyers. NYG, DAL, and PHI have the weapons to put up a lot of points. And high scoring games are a fantasy owners dream. So expect to see a lot of points to come out of this division, just need to make sure you are on the right end of that.
