Official NN Media Predictions FanPost

NFL rookies are starting to report to training camp, with most teams getting their full roster practices started later next week. As the season gets closer and closer, more and more team and league previews are hitting the Internet and news stands. I don't read many of those magazine previews anymore, but they are still out there!

People are more than welcome to post links in the FanShot section to these previews, but I thought it might be easier and more helpful if we can compile the links in a single place. Accordingly, I've created this FanPost so that people can post links to previews they see around the Internet, or provide some information from these magazine previews.

If you post a link to a preview, don't copy and paste the entire preview into the post. You can pull some content from it, but copyright issues prevent pasting entire articles. Maybe include the predicted records for the NFC West and then a few pertinent comments from the post. You can of course also include your opinion on the prediction. When you go to post a preview link, read through to make sure nobody else has posted the same link.

To get this started, CBS Sports posted their team-by-team previews yesterday morning. They predicted a 9-7 season for the 49ers, and a second place finish behind the 10-6 Arizona Cardinals. They have Seattle finishing 7-9 and the Rams finishing 4-12. They included an "Insider's take" with this interesting comment: "They have a whack job for a coach, but he can lead them to 10 victories with that defense."

If you get a second, hit the Rec button on this so it stays near the top of the FanShots after it moves down the front page. When you go to post links, you don't have to stick with traditional mainstream media. If you see a random website with an interesting preview, feel free to link to it. Shortly before the season I'll compile a rundown of where people are projecting the 49ers. I suspect a lot of first place predictions, but as this CBS Sports preview shows, there are going to be some contrarians.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.
