Good evening, everybody. It was looking like a relatively quiet day, until I stumbled across the news of Adrian Peterson getting arrested in Houston Friday night. The situation still isn't clear as to who is at fault. I've seen reports that AP was leaving a club and a cop jumped on his back. Someone at the club reportedly said he was drunk and big-timing folks at the club. The Houston police are saying an off-duty cop told Peterson and his group they had to leave and it resulted in AP shoving the cop. As with any story, there are probably five different versions.

In 49ers-related news, don't forget that Frank Gore will be accompanying boxer Nonito Donaire to the ring tonight for his championship fight on HBO. The fight is scheduled for 10:00pm ET/7:00pm PT on HBO Boxing After Dark. Gore will carry Donaire's championship belt into the ring before the fight.
