Most of us know who the top guys are at their positions. And baring injury, they will most likely perform well. But where fantasy championships are won, is when your later round picks are able to rise to the top. So here are my rules for this team. I will pick up a starter and a back-up at each skill position. And they must be ranked a non fantasy starter. So if it is a 10 team league, only the top 10 QB's and TE's, top 20 at WR's and RB's are ranked as starters.
QB: Jay Cutler (New weapons and a new OC should do wonders for him)
RB: Doug Martin (Can run, catch, and block. He will be the full time starter sooner than later)
RB: Donald Brown (No more all spread all day for Indy and Brown has the edge to be the number 1 HB)
WR: Eric Decker (Thomas will make the big plays but Decker will be Peyton's Wes Welker)
WR: DeSean Jackson (He got a new contract and he is ready to play)
FLEX W/R: BenJarvus Green-Ellis (Will finally get the chance to be a featured back in Cincinnati)
TE: Jacob Tamme (Had a big season when Dallas Clark went down in Indy, expect the same this year. I have him as my number 5 ranked TE)
Bench
QB: Andrew Luck (This is a guy I stash on my bench and trade him later in the season)
RB: Mark Ingram (All reports are is that he will be the 1st and 2nd down HB and will get the goal line carries)
WR: Pierre Garcon (Looks to be the #1 WR for RG3. Harvin, Steve Smith, and A.J. Green had good years with rookie QB's last season)
FLEX: Reggie Wayne (Luck might not be Manning, but he is still pretty darn good. And like I said about Garcon, rookie QB doesn't always spell disaster for a #1 WR)
TE: Coby Fleener (He has a great feel for Luck after playing with him at Stanford and I think for his ADP (Average Draft Position) being in the 15th round, he has value as a spot start if not more)
